Kentucky Oral Health Coalition
The Kentucky Oral Health Coalition is a collaborative group of professionals from across the Commonwealth with a shared goal to improve the oral health of all people in Kentucky. Our primary focus areas are increasing access to care and improving oral health literacy and awareness. KOHC engages in policy advocacy to influence oral health at a systems level, as well as working with providers, and oral health stakeholders to provide educational materials and resources to communities.
KOHC is comprised of over 450 members and oral health stakeholders that engage with the Coalition from every region of the Commonwealth. Membership includes dentists, dental hygienists, health professionals, family resource center coordinators, universities, managed care companies, business corporations, government entities, teachers, parents, educators, social workers, public health departments, community health advocates and many others.
Coalition members are part of a collective voice to make a true impact on oral health in Kentucky. Members have the opportunity to network and collaborate with diverse professional agencies and organizations at meetings and other related events, earn CEU credits and vote on Coalition decisions. Members also enjoy individual recognition and organizational visibility on appropriate KOHC media, social media channels, and website.
