Confused about which guidelines to follow, or the difference between guidelines and regulations? This course will answer those questions and more. Participants will be updated on the most current rules and guidance from both OSHA and the CDC, as well as state board rules regarding infection prevention. Additional topics will include PPE requirements, appropriate disinfection protocols and how to lessen the impact of shortages of PPE and other infection prevention supplies.

This course is open to all dental team members.

Mary Govoni, MBA, CDA, RDH is a dental assistant and hygienist with nearly 50 years of experience in the dental profession. An OSHA consultant and speaker for over 25 years, Mary brings her expertise as an OSHA Outreach Trainer and her knowledge of dental practice protocols to groups around the country and internationally as well. Mary is known for her practical approach to compliance with infection prevention and safety standards, which comes from her many years of experience working on and with dental teams.
