This 90-minute interactive lecture explores the relationship between stress, brain function and workplace dynamics in dental teams. Participants will learn mindfulness and laughter-based interventions grounded in neuroscience and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). Through guided reflection and practical exercises, attendees will discover tools for self-regulation, improved communication and positive team culture.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify the impact of chronic stress on the nervous system and team productivity.
2. Explain the role of the vagus nerve and neuroplasticity in regulating
emotional response.
3. Utilize laughter yoga and mindfulness anchoring to manage stress in
clinical settings.
4. Practice language strategies to reframe challenges and foster supportive communication.
5. Assess shifts in emotional and physical state using journaling and
awareness techniques.
