KDA Toll Free Number
KDA members have access to a toll free number toobtain assistance and relevant, timely information from knowledgeable KDA staff.
Legislative Support
Active representation in the Kentucky State Legislature on issues related to dentistry will preserve your professional registered status. As a specific example, HB 186 was passed during the 2008 Legislative Session requiring a dental screening or examination the first year that a three, four, five or six-year old is enrolled in a public school, public preschool or Head Start program. Legislative Alerts keep members informed of new happenings affecting dentistry at the State Capital.
KDA Relief Fund
The KDA Relief Fund provides temporary assistance to member dentists who have experienced extreme financial difficulties due to illness, disability, natural disasters or similar problems.
Well Being Program
This program was created to assist members who have a chemical dependency or substance abuse problem. It is our goal to help our members live healthy, productive lives.
New Dentist Road Map
The New Dentist Road Map, a publication subtitled “Down the Stretch they Come!”, contains a checklist outlining the steps necessary to open a dental practice.
